As you will already be aware from the press media, despite all the efforts of the transport industry, the German government has decided on 16 November 2023 to introduce the new Toll law passed without amendments.
From 1 December 2023, CO2 emission classes were introduced as a new tariff feature for the toll. As a result, a CO2 surcharge will be levied for the truck toll, with a surcharge of €200 per tonne of CO2. In concrete terms, this means that for all vehicles with a technically permissible total mass of over 7.5 tonnes, a partial toll rate for CO2 emissions will be added to the existing toll of 70% on average.
From 01.02.2024 we will adjust the delivery flat rates agreed with you by € 5.00 net per delivery and increase the toll flat rate currently charged from € 9.50 to € 12.50 per delivery.
We are aware that price increases are never an easy announcement. Ultimately, we want to continue our service without compromising on quality and therefore unfortunately have to take this step. We ask for your understanding.
